This Flemish Castle in Wiston, Pembrokeshire was built c1112 by Wizo the Fleming who I have read took over South Wales after the Norman Conquest. The castle is unusual in It's complete roundness. There are 49 steps leading up to the castle, though these were probably added later. The view from the top is spectacular and well worth a visit.
This cottage sits to the left of the castle; it is very quaint and lovely, and I must admit I wouldn't mind living there myself!
