Llansteffan Village

Walk along the beach, take a right into the woodland, look left and you will see some wooden steps, if you walk up these steps the first sight you will see is this lovely memorial to the ancestors of the village. A musical tribute. The story goes that on a Sunday afternoon, many walked along the coast path singing as they went.

Walking along the path to the castle

and then along the narrow road down to the village Church.

As you walk down the hill, through the village, past the pub and store, you will come upon a corrugated building that seems to have been empty for decades but untouched. An overgrown garden, the grey dusty net curtains, rusty gate, all seem to me a relic, long forgotten.

I have a fascination for windows and doors, just a fascination.
