There are Always Days such as This ....

It had been a busy week with work and other things that had to be done. So today I was glad to have slept soundly and woken with a light heart. I read that a friend on FB has a publication da te for her first book "Ghostbird" with the Welsh Women's Press. I am so pleased for her. Then a surprise phone call from a dear friend; that put a smile on my face. This inspired me to go for a cycle to Wisemans Bridge and an hour's walk along the beach, taking in the air, feeling the wind in my face, blowing all those cobwebs away, taking photographs with my DianaF camera of patterns and waves and anything else that grabbed my attention.

These are all simple pleasures, but it is these that make my heart sing and make me feel alive and oh so lucky to have a life that is safe, warm and full of love. Nothing should be taken for granted. I was fortunate to be born in Wales, to have my freedom, to be able to speak and be allowed my own opinions, to be surrounded by nature and the love of family and friends. What more is there to need.

I posted two colour 120mm films to be processed this week. I am going to start a Visual Journal. I feel inspired to start something creative. The Creative Writing Course gave me somthing to push me forward, and now I feel that I am ready to take the next step to creating something. I don't know what. It is a nothing, that will become a something.

There is a Shadow in the Light
But the Light is from the Sun
The Sun holds my heart
No Shadow can dampen this day
