I should probably go out and take photos of it as I live on the coast. But I'm too comfortable here in our small cul-di-sac to venture out again today. I haven't been far, just rode my bike around the houses a few times, my new exercise regime, returned after 15 mins as I was almost blown off my bike, did 10mins skipping in the garden and then a few more minutes exercise indoors.
A couple of miles away in the seaside village of Amroth, the road has been completely torn apart. There were pictures on the news earlier.

In mid Wales, they are experiencing record high tides, flooding many homes and businesses.
BBC website pictures of Saundersfoot and other UK sites of High Tide... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25587246 Its just devastating. I am so lucky to live in an area of safety and dry. I cant imagine what it must be like for people who's homes and businesses are being wrecked by water destruction.
Its all our fault of course. The human race as a whole has ignored the warnings and signs that have been crying out for our attention for years. But those who can do, don't do, and those who want to do, can only do very little. Its very frustrating and I do worry about future generations and the mess they will have to deal with after we are all long gone. The earth is in crisis and it seems to me that it's already too late. But am I a hypocrite? I re-cycle, I care, I live a simple life, I don't have a car, I don't fly around the world, I don't buy unnecessary goods, I help clean up the beaches, I pick up any litter I see around .... but that's not really enough is it. The fact is I simply don't know what to do any more. I'm not an activist as in I don't join any groups, I just do what I can, where I am.
Anyway this began about the weather ............I'm sitting here looking out of the window and the trees are swaying in the wind, at the moment its not raining or hailing but I'm sure it will in a moment.
