Its the second of their thrillers that I've read. They have started a little slow but then "wham" the story really takes off. This one is about Abigail Devereaux. You find her bound and gagged at the beginning, a harrowing account of the fears of a kidnapped victim. I wont write anything more because if you want to read it, I don't want to spoil the plot. Suffice to say that in my opinion, its well worth reading if your into fast moving thrillers.
After a lazy Sunday morning reading, drinking coffee and checking emails etc. I was feeling a little lethargic and wanted to get out of the house. The wind was/is howling, and its been raining all day but I decided to go for a walk. Today I took my 35mm camera with me. I do love the misty atmosphere you find when your out in the rain, and the colours are always more intense. I shot a whole film which I will develop soon. I also took a few pics with my mobile which I will upload as a collage, just because I like to add a few pictures to my blogs.
I had intended to take my sister's car as far as Coppet Hall, but there was a Fire Engine blocking the road, they were attending too a flood. So I walked from home instead. I found a lane and took it, not knowing where it would lead me. I must have walked about three miles and at times was a little panicky because I felt lost. However, I calmed myself and knew that if I walked in a circle I was sure to reach the road somewhere. I did come to a road but felt totally disorientated! I had to knock on someones door and ask which way I should return home to Saundersfoot. My sense of direction was confused. The nice man showed me which way to go and half an hour later I got home, completely drenched but feeling good.
Now I'm home and warm. Time for some supper....
