I've just finished reading The Escape and it didn't disappoint. I was a little worried that I felt it was a slow starter; I began to wonder if I was going to be let down by the third in the series of the John Puller Investigations. But a sigh of relief when about 50 pages in, I began to be drawn into the story and from then I was absorbed and entertained.
If you haven't yet read any of the John Puller Thriller Series, they are well worth picking up. The last in the series sees the older brother Robert, the most wanted man in America, escape from military prison, and his brother John leading the investigation into his re-capture.
Its quite a fast paced read, plenty of thrills, corruption, secret intelligence, a bit of flirting... and of course a dilemma for John, where does his loyalty lie, with his brother, or with his duty to his country.
