Out and About

The Villages of Milton, Carew and Cosheston

Now that I've started photographing red post boxes and red phone boxes for record keeping peeps on twitter, I enjoy going out and about and finding them. What a geek!

Cenarth Falls, Ceredigion

A popular attraction for locals and toursits. A site of natural beauty and lots of small waterfalls. You can walk along the river, visit the mill, have a drink, a cake or a meal depending on what takes your fancy.

Tresaith

Tresaith, the tide was high during the hours I visited. I only really wanted to see the natural waterfall there, and so I stood on the rocks with a couple of other people and tried to get a picture of it. This was the best I could do at that time. I love this waterfall. A local man I spoke too, said its not much to look at. But I think it is a great wonder of nature and quite magnificent. Maybe his eyes have grown to accustomed to its beauty and he no longer notices how simply marvelous it is.

I've been photographing red post boxes and red phone boxes as a contributor to those who are making a record of them. I now get very excited when I find a Victorian Post Box, even though this one is no longer in use. Seeing the V R sign makes me smile. Its like finding a treasure!
